The studio at Houseboat Ark Van Amstel is cozy and comfortable, with a warm and inviting seating area that has a beautiful parquet floor. It feels like a home away from home, perfect for someone like me who wants a relaxed and casual atmosphere during their stay.

Personally, I found the shower in the bathroom a bit small. But hey, that's just my opinion – others might not mind it at all!

Functional accommodations with a wide view over the Amstel River. The room was so well-equipped, it felt like I was staying in a high-tech spaceship! I could even control the lights and temperature with a touch of a button. The view of the Amstel River was like a moving masterpiece, constantly changing and mesmerizing.

Unclean and poor service.

We had a fantastic time staying at this unique houseboat for a week. The floating terrace was amazing, with wraparound sliding windows that provided beautiful views of the Amstel River. The cozy bedroom downstairs was extremely comfortable, and we loved relaxing upstairs and watching the boats sail by. The kitchen and decor were both beautiful, and the host, Masha, was very accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend this houseboat for a memorable and special experience.

We absolutely loved the unique experience of staying on a houseboat. The view of the Amstel River was amazing and the location was very convenient with easy access to public transport. The owners were very proactive in informing us about any potential drawbacks, like steep steps, so there were no surprises upon arrival. They regularly checked in to see if we needed anything and provided local tips for dining and sightseeing. The additional electrical heaters made our evenings warm and cosy, which was a great touch.

Great value for money, the room was beautiful and had an amazing view of the canal. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants nearby and easy access to public transport. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The view from my living room was absolutely breathtaking. I could sit there for hours, watching the boats sail past and enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings. The location of the accommodation was also fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and the city center within walking distance. Although I had a wonderful stay overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The apartment was a bit dusty and some of the cutlery was not properly cleaned.
